The launch meeting for the recommissioned and expanded Stafford & Surrounds and Cannock Chase Glaucoma Referral Refinement (GRR) pathway will take place on the evening of Thursday 5 February, 6:00pm, at the Stafford Postgraduate Medical Centre (ST16 3SA - enter Stafford County Hospital, take the first left, up the hill, through the barrier, parking on the right). A buffet meal will be available.
The meeting will cover the following points:
- GRR pathway protocol (including the change in threshold for referral into Test B)
- Introduction to Primary Eyecare (Shropshire & Staffordshire) Ltd (SAS PEC) and Clinical Governance and Performance Leads
- Webstar IT support (training session with Mr Gian Celino, Webstar Health Director & Consulting Practice Lead)
Please note that attendance will be mandatory for anyone who wants to be part of / remain on the scheme, not just for those joining the GRR pathway for the first time, due to the change in the pathway’s protocols. The launch event will also give you an opportunity to learn more about SAS PEC, who will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and overseeing service delivery for the pathway.
